01 Accepting these Terms

These Terms govern your access to the Uimua application and related services. “Uimua,” “we,” and “us” refer to the service provider. By creating an account or affirmatively accepting these Terms in the app, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not create an account or use the service.

Our Privacy Policy explains data handling, and our Community Guidelines describe the conduct required when sharing content or interacting with others.

02 Eligibility & accounts

You must be at least 13 and meet the minimum age required in your jurisdiction. If you are not legally able to accept these Terms independently, a parent or legal guardian must authorize your use.

Provide accurate account information, protect your credentials, and use only accounts you are authorized to control. Do not impersonate another person, sell or transfer accounts, or create accounts to evade restrictions. Contact support if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.

03 The Uimua experience

Uimua provides a baseball-focused space for posts, photos, training clips, comments, follows, messaging, topic-based live voice rooms, and illustrated training content. Reporting and blocking tools help users manage interactions.

Features may vary by version and availability. We may maintain, update, or change the service and will give appropriate notice of material changes where required. Promotional previews illustrate the product and do not promise specific content, user counts, or continuous availability.

04 Your content & permissions

You retain ownership of the content you submit. You grant Uimua a nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, process, display, and distribute your content to its intended audience, and to review it for safety, only as reasonably necessary to operate the service. This license does not transfer ownership or authorize unrelated commercial use of your content.

The license ends when content is deleted, except as needed to complete deletion, meet legal obligations, or handle permitted copies already shared with others. Information retained after deletion is handled under our Privacy Policy.

Share only material you own or have permission to use, including game footage, photographs, music, illustrations, team marks, and images of identifiable people. Obtain appropriate consent before sharing private conversations or identifiable information, especially material involving minors. Do not imply that Uimua is endorsed by any league, team, athlete, or organization.

05 Prohibited content & conduct

There is no place in Uimua for abusive or unlawful content. You must not create, upload, share, request, or promote:

• Child sexual abuse or exploitation, grooming, sexual exploitation, pornography, or sexually explicit content.
• Threats, violent wrongdoing, harassment, bullying, stalking, hateful conduct, or discrimination.
• Scams, impersonation, spam, deceptive promotions, illegal transactions, or unlawful activity.
• Private information shared without permission, unauthorized recordings, or content that infringes intellectual-property or other rights.
• Dangerous training challenges or instructions that encourage serious harm.
• Malware, credential theft, unauthorized access, scraping that compromises privacy or security, or attempts to bypass moderation and blocking.

These rules apply to profiles, posts, photos, videos, comments, messages, room titles, chat, and live audio. See our Community Guidelines for reporting and enforcement details.

06 Reporting, blocking & enforcement

Use in-app reporting controls to flag content or accounts and blocking controls to limit unwanted interactions. You may also email shorif.ahmad1933@gmail.com with the relevant account or content details. For an immediate danger, contact local emergency services.

We review reports according to their severity and context. We may remove or restrict content, limit features, suspend or terminate accounts, preserve relevant evidence, or notify competent authorities where appropriate or required. Serious violations may result in immediate action. Blocking helps manage contact but does not guarantee another person cannot see content that is otherwise public.

We aim to address reports promptly; response time depends on severity and available information. If you believe an action was mistaken, contact support with the account identifier and relevant details to request review. We do not guarantee continuous monitoring of every post or live room.

07 Voice rooms & messages

Use communication features respectfully and follow the same rules that apply to posts. Do not pressure another person to disclose private information or record or redistribute a conversation without the permissions required by law and our community rules.

You control whether to participate and may leave a room or conversation. Microphone permission is needed when speaking. Participants can hear your contributions, so use care when sharing personal details.

08 Uimua materials & intellectual property

Subject to these Terms, you have a personal, limited, nonexclusive, nontransferable, revocable right to use Uimua for its intended purpose. The application, interface, branding, and original service materials are owned by or licensed to Uimua; these Terms do not transfer those rights.

Do not resell, copy for unauthorized distribution, interfere with, or bypass access controls on the service. Restrictions on reverse engineering apply only to the extent permitted by applicable law.

For an intellectual-property complaint, email shorif.ahmad1933@gmail.com with your contact information, identification of the protected work and specific content, the reason for your complaint, and a statement that you are the rights holder or authorized to act for them. We may request clarification and take appropriate action.

09 Leaving Uimua & account restrictions

You may stop using Uimua at any time. To request account deletion, go to Profile → Settings → Delete Account or use the external deletion instructions. Uninstalling the app alone does not request account deletion.

We may restrict or end access for serious or repeated violations, safety risks, fraud, infringement, legal requirements, or threats to the service. Where appropriate and legally permitted, we will provide reasons and a way to seek review. Data remaining after account closure is governed by our Privacy Policy.

10 Training information & safety

Posts, discussions, and training guides are general information and may not suit your health, ability, equipment, or playing conditions. User contributions may contain errors. They do not replace qualified coaching, supervision, or medical advice.

Baseball and training involve physical risks. Use suitable equipment, practice in a safe environment, and stop if you experience pain or unsafe conditions. Do not rely on community content for emergencies or professional diagnosis.

11 Availability, liability & your rights

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without a guarantee of uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or the accuracy of user content. We are not responsible for independent conduct of other users beyond our obligations under applicable law.

To the extent permitted by law, Uimua is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the service. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits mandatory consumer rights, rights under data-protection law, liability for fraud or intentional misconduct, or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

If a dispute arises, contact us so we can try to resolve it. These Terms do not require mandatory arbitration, prevent you from contacting a regulator, or take away access to courts or other protections available under applicable law. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted.

12 Changes & questions

We may revise these Terms when the service or legal requirements change. The current effective date appears above. Material changes will receive appropriate notice, and renewed acceptance will be requested where required. If you do not accept an updated agreement, you may stop using the service and request account deletion.
