01 Who we are & scope

Uimua is a baseball community for players, fans, coaches, and enthusiasts. In this policy, “Uimua,” “we,” and “us” refer to the provider of the Uimua application and related services. This policy covers account information, community interactions, device permissions, support requests, and visits to this website.

02 Information we handle

The information involved depends on the features you use and what you choose to share.

Do not include sensitive personal information in public posts or messages unless necessary and appropriate. We do not request access to your contacts, SMS, call logs, or precise device location for the baseball features described here.

03 Camera, media & microphone

Device permissions support features you choose to use. A permission being listed by the operating system does not mean all accessible information is uploaded.

• Camera: to take a profile photo or capture media you choose to share.
• Photos, videos & media: to select, upload, view, or save media at your request. Depending on the Android version, the system may show separate photo, video, audio, or storage permissions. Older Android versions may use storage permissions for these actions.
• Microphone: to transmit your voice when you speak in a live voice room or use an available communication feature.
• Network & audio settings: to load community content, connect communication sessions, and manage sound output.

We do not record live communication unless recording is clearly disclosed in advance and separately authorized. Other participants can hear what you share in a room; do not disclose information you wish to keep private. Unauthorized recording of other people is prohibited by our community rules.

You may deny or revoke permissions in your device’s Settings → Apps → Uimua → Permissions (or equivalent controls). The related feature may then be unavailable; unrelated features can still be used where technically possible. Withdrawing permission stops future access but does not automatically remove content already shared.

04 How information is used

• Provide accounts, feeds, posts, comments, follows, messages, training content, and voice rooms.
• Display the content and profile details you choose to share with the appropriate audience.
• Maintain settings and support the interactions you request.
• Investigate reports, apply blocking and moderation controls, and detect abuse or unauthorized access.
• Respond to support, privacy, and deletion requests, and maintain service reliability.
• Comply with applicable legal obligations and protect users’ rights and safety.

Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we rely on performance of our agreement to provide requested services, your consent for optional processing, legitimate interests in security and service operation subject to your rights, and compliance with legal obligations. You may withdraw consent for future processing without affecting processing already carried out lawfully.

05 Visibility & sharing

Other users: public posts, profile information, comments, and social interactions can be seen by other users according to the feature’s audience. Messages are visible to their recipients; voice-room contributions are audible to participants. Other users may save or reshare material outside Uimua.

Service providers: information may be processed by providers supporting hosting, storage, communication delivery, security, and support, only as needed for those services and subject to appropriate confidentiality and data-protection obligations.

Legal and safety reasons: we may disclose relevant information where required by law or reasonably necessary to investigate fraud, address serious safety concerns, or protect legal rights. If the service changes ownership, any transfer is subject to applicable law and appropriate notice.

We do not sell personal information or use it for third-party cross-app advertising or tracking.

06 Storage, security & retention

Information may be stored on your device and, where a feature requires it, on systems used to provide the service. Device permissions alone do not determine whether data is stored locally or transmitted. Removing the app can remove local information but does not itself submit an account-deletion request.

We retain account information while needed to provide your account; content while it is shared or otherwise needed for the requested feature; and support or safety records only as reasonably necessary to resolve requests, investigate abuse, prevent fraud, or meet legal obligations. Retention depends on the type of record and the reason it is needed.

Following a verified deletion request, account information and associated posts, uploaded media, and comments will be deleted or irreversibly anonymized within 30 days, except for limited records required by law or reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, or dispute resolution. Such exceptions are restricted to their purpose and retained only as long as needed. Residual backup copies, where maintained, are isolated from ordinary use and removed through the normal backup lifecycle, unless legally required to be preserved.

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the information and risks. No storage or communication system is completely secure. If a breach requires notification under applicable law, we will provide that notification.

07 Your choices & rights

You can edit profile information, choose what to post and whom to follow, leave conversations, block accounts, and control device permissions. To delete your account, use Profile → Settings → Delete Account, or follow the web account-deletion instructions.

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a portable copy of eligible information; restrict or object to certain processing; or withdraw consent. Send requests to shorif.ahmad1933@gmail.com. We may request proportionate information to verify that you control the account. Never send a password or verification code.

We respond within the time required by applicable law and explain any permitted refusal or extension. You may also contact the relevant data-protection authority. Exercising a privacy right will not result in unlawful discrimination.

Delivered messages may remain in a recipient’s history where permitted by law, with your active-profile link removed. Deleting an account cannot remove independent screenshots or copies held by others.

08 Age requirements & children

Uimua is not directed to children under 13 or anyone below the minimum age required in their jurisdiction. If local law requires a higher age or parental authorization, that requirement applies. Users who cannot legally accept the Terms independently must obtain authorization from a parent or guardian.

If you believe that a child has provided personal information contrary to these requirements, contact shorif.ahmad1933@gmail.com. We will investigate and take appropriate steps to remove the information and account where required.

09 International processing

Depending on where you use Uimua and where relevant service providers operate, information may be processed outside your country. Where required, international transfers must use an appropriate legal mechanism and safeguards under applicable data-protection law. Contact us for information about safeguards relevant to your request.

10 This website & external links

This informational website does not require an account, embed advertising or analytics scripts, or use nonessential cookies. Its pages, fonts, and promotional images are served locally by the website host. The hosting service may process ordinary connection information, such as IP address and request logs, to deliver and protect the site.

Opening an email link launches your email application. An email request is sent only when you send the message yourself. External websites and your email provider apply their own privacy policies.

11 Changes & contact

We may update this policy to reflect changes in the service, data practices, or applicable law. The effective date appears above. For material changes, we will provide appropriate notice and obtain consent where legally required before applying the new processing.
